About
Notes from people who actually run the campaigns
Marketing Notes is a small editorial site about the unglamorous parts of marketing: the email that gets opened, the shop sign that gets read, the sentence on a landing page that stops someone leaving. We write for owners of small businesses and for creators who do their own marketing between everything else.
Every note is written to be used the same week you read it. We prefer specific numbers, real examples and honest trade-offs over frameworks with clever names.
How we work
- We only publish tactics we have run, tested or seen produce results first-hand.
- We say when something is uncertain, seasonal or only works at a certain size.
- We update notes when platforms change the rules.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
This site is free to read and is funded by display advertising and, occasionally, affiliate links to tools we already use. If you buy through one of those links we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Advertising never decides what we cover or what we recommend, and sponsored content is always labelled.
Not professional advice
Everything here is general information for a general audience. It is not financial, legal, tax or professional advice. Check your own situation with a qualified adviser before making decisions that carry risk.
